If you already have a WhatsApp number, you can use it. However, before onboarding, you must delete the WhatsApp account associated with it.

There is no setup fee associated with using the WhatsApp API.

What are the prerequisites for WhatsApp business API?

Chatman uses WhatsApp cloud API to send and receive messages. To start using Chatman you need to connect the phone number with WhatsApp.

For this you'll need access to:

  • A phone number that can receive SMS or calls
  • Access to your company's Facebook (Meta) Business Manager Account
  • Functional Business website
When WhatsApp is free, what does conversational-based pricing mean? 

WhatsApp is free to use for regular users, but businesses using WhatsApp Business API to grow their business may incur charges for sending customer messages. WhatsApp conversation pricing depends on the country code of your customer and the template of your message. How can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

You can upgrade your plan or move from a monthly plan to an annual one anytime from the “Customer Portal” section under Settings > Billing > Subscription. Your charges will be prorated based on the date of the change. Any downgrades will be effective only at the end of your current billing cycle. If you cannot change your plan or need our help determining which plan is right for you, please contact us at billing@makerobos.com

Do you have any cancellation fees?

No, Chatman by Makerobos is a pay-as-you-go service, and we do not have any cancellation fees. You can cancel your plan at any time. However, we do not provide any refunds on payments made for your existing subscription or credits.

What types of payment do you accept?
